Precare: How to Prepare for Your Initial Appointment

NO alcohol 24 hours prior & limit caffeine intake 12 hours prior.
Avoid Retin-A/Retinol 7 days prior, blood thinners 5 days prior, and 24hrs after (includes aspirin, ibuprofen, niacin, fish oil or vitamin E)
Must be out of active chemotherapy / radiation for 8 months.
Must be off steroids and Accutane for 6 months.
Must wait 4 months after giving birth/after breastfeeding.
Must be off antibiotics for 2 weeks prior.

Hold off on Botox, fillers, injections, microdermabrasion, or facials, chemical peels, and laser treatments up to 2 months prior.
Avoid tanning and sun exposure 2 weeks before & after.
Avoid shaping, waxing, or threading at least 1 week prior.
Do not come to your apt with dyed, henna, or tinted and laminated brows.
Aftercare: How to Care for Your New NanoBrows

You can expect to see the brows flaking around day 2-3. Using lukewarm water and a gentle non-scented cleanser (ie. CeraVe), lightly massage the brows in small circles, pat dry with a soft tissue or cotton round, and apply a rice grain amount of provided aftercare cream to each brow every time they are washed. Begin washing your brows about 1-2 hours after your appointment.
Apply a small amount of aftercare balm after washing your brows using the Q-Tips for 2 days.

Please Avoid — Picking at your healing brows. This will cause pigment loss. Let the skin naturally exfoliate off.
Increased sweating, exercise, strenuous activity. Keep area dry EXCEPT for when cleansing.
Getting your brows/forehead wet outside of instructed washing in pools, sauna, jacuzzi, oceans/lakes, baths, etc.
Tanning bed use at any time after having brows tattooed can cause discoloration and premature fading.
Natural tanning. Once healed, use an SPF to avoid premature fading and/or discoloration due to UVA/UVB rays.
Avoid Retin-A, retinol, Vitamin A and oils on the forehead.
No makeup products or other skincare products should be applied to the brows until they are completely done flaking!

When do you need to make your touch up appointment, aka perfecting session?
We ask our clients to book their touch up 4-6 weeks after the initial brow service. It will be scheduled for 1.5 hours. The same Pre-Care and Aftercare instructions apply to this session!
All brow services are considered a 2-step process, and your touch up session is highly recommended to get the best results.
