Here are our most frequently asked questions. This page will guide you through our appointment process so that you are all prepped for your new brows.

Booking deposits are nonrefundable. Do not submit your booking fee until you have read all information applicable to your appointment. Submission of your booking fee signifies your agreement and understanding of these terms.

Am I a candidate for Nano Brows/semi-permanent makeup?

Most clients are great candidates for nano brows. But if any of these pertain to you, you are not eligible for Nano Brows at this time:

• You are under the age of 18

• You are pregnant or nursing

• You are currently undergoing chemotherapy

Are Nano Brows permanent?

Nanoblading, similar to Microblading or Powder Brows, are semi-permanent makeup services. The pigments from the Nano Machine insert color onto the top epidermis layer of your skin, naturally fading over time. Your brows will require a refresher or touch up session, on average, every 12-24 months.

Skin type, lifestyle, and personal skincare products can all effect the longevity of your Nano Brows.

*Please note that final results CANNOT be guaranteed as everyone retains and breaks down pigment differently on their skin. A follow-up appointment is recommended at 4-6 weeks. This is when we can asses retention and make any changes necessary. People with lighter hair, correction work or sparse eyebrows may require more than one follow-up to reach their desired look at an additional cost.

How do I prepare for my eyebrow appointment?

Pre-appointment care is important to help your skin prepare to take in pigment, and it will help with retention.

• Minimize the use of retin-a, retinol, tretinoin products 2 days before your appointment

• Do not drink caffeine or energy drinks or alcohol 24 hours before your appointment

• Do not take Aspirin or blood thinning medication 24 hours before

• Do not tan week of treatment.

• Waxing/threading must be done at least 48 hours before your appointment

• No chemical peels, botox, microdermabrasion, laser or any other intense treatments 2 weeks before treatment

I had my brows done by someone else, how much is a touch up?

SOHO’s touch up pricing is for current clients only. If we approve your previously tattooed brows it will be based on new client pricing for your upcoming appointment, starting at $500.

What’s the healing process like?

Brows are usually healed in 2 weeks. There is minimal to no scabbing during this process. Though it may appear like they’re fading or losing too much pigment, please continue to follow your aftercare instructions. After your skin has had down time, the pigment will become visible and more vibrant again (usually around 4 weeks after your appointment). Your touch up session will take care of any areas that may have faded more than desired and this is when we will be helping perfect your brows. Touch up sessions are no earlier than 4 weeks from the initial appointment.

What is the Touch Up Session? Do I need two appointments?

Throughout the healing time, the color can begin to fade. While some clients may like this, other may want a bolder look. You may have areas that lost more pigment than desired (this is all based on the way your skin type is and how it will naturally exfoliate).

At our “perfecting” touch up session, we will assess how you healed, how the pigment looks, and then proceed to make any necessary changes. Those with more oily or problematic skin, previous microblading done, or those with thin sparse brows may require more sessions to achieve their desired look (additional rates applied).
